Euzena Terms of Use
Version 3.0 · Effective October 19, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms are an agreement between you and Pathstead AI Labs LLC ("we", "us"), which runs Euzena. You accept them by selecting "Continue with Google" when you sign up, and in doing so you acknowledge our Privacy Notice, which explains how we handle your information. You give consent for health information separately, as our Consumer Health Data Notice describes. We record the versions of these Terms and our Privacy Notice you saw, and when you agreed. If you do not agree, do not use Euzena.
2. Who may use Euzena
Euzena is an invite-only beta offered in the United States. You may use it if you are 18 or older, were invited by us, and sign in with your own Google account. One account per person: do not share your invitation or let anyone else use your account.
3. Your account
You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your Google account secure. Tell us at contact@euzena.com if you think someone else has used your account. If you lose access to your Google account, you lose access to Euzena, so keep your own copy of anything that matters.
4. The beta
Euzena is unfinished software given to a small number of people while we build it. It will keep changing, often without notice, and features may change or end. It may be unavailable, and it may lose your records. Keep your own copy of anything that matters: the readable notes and conversation downloads are the parts you can read without Euzena.
5. Using Euzena's answers
Euzena's answers are written by AI. They can be wrong, out of date or incomplete, even when they sound certain, so check anything that matters before you act on it.
Euzena is not a doctor, a lawyer, a therapist, or a financial adviser, and nothing it says is advice from any of those. For health, money or legal questions, Euzena can help you think a question through and may suggest next steps, but these are suggestions, not professional advice, and it will recommend the right professional.
Do not use Euzena's answers on their own to make decisions about other people's credit, employment, housing, education, insurance or medical care.
Euzena is not an emergency service. If you or someone near you is in danger, call 911. If you are thinking about harming yourself, you can call or text 988 at any time.
6. What Euzena does and does not do for you
Euzena suggests; you decide. It does not buy anything, send messages to other people, or agree to anything on your behalf. When it changes something for you, such as an event in your calendar, you review the change first, and what you approve is your decision.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use someone else's account, or let someone use yours;
- try to reach records that are not yours, or get around our security or safety measures;
- attack, overload, scrape, copy or reverse engineer Euzena, or run automated traffic against it;
- use Euzena to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, or harm somebody;
- store things Euzena is not built for, such as another person's medical records or payment card numbers.
If you do, we may suspend or close your account, without notice if it is serious.
8. Your content
You own what you put into Euzena: your Journeys, answers, notes and conversations. To the extent we have any rights in the answers Euzena writes for you, we give them to you. Answers to similar questions may be similar for different people.
You give us permission to store, encrypt and back up your content; to show it back to you; and to hand it over when you export. If you separately tick the health information choice at sign-in, you also permit Euzena to send what goes with a question to the AI services that write the answers; when you use the microphone, to send your recording to an AI service to turn it into text; and during self-discovery, to send your submitted answers and the areas you marked to an AI service to prepare follow-up questions and suggestions, as our Privacy Notice describes. You can stop future AI use in Permissions. This permission is only for running and securing Euzena for you, and it ends when your content is deleted. We do not sell your content or share it for advertising, and we do not use it to train a model.
If you send us feedback, we may use it to improve Euzena without owing you anything.
9. Other companies' services
Euzena works with other companies to run the service, as our Privacy Notice describes. When you connect your calendar or sign in with Google, Google's terms also apply to those parts. We are not responsible for those services, but you can disconnect them from Euzena at any time.
10. Changing or ending Euzena
Small changes to how Euzena works happen without notice. Taking away a feature you rely on, ending your invitation and closing the beta are major changes: we tell you on the channel your invitation arrived on at least 30 days before, and that time is yours to export.
We may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms, if the law requires it, or to protect Euzena or other people. Where we reasonably can, we tell you why first and give you a chance to respond, and you can still export your data. The 30 days do not apply when we close an account under section 7.
You can leave whenever you want, from your account page.
11. Text messages
Texting is not open yet. When it opens, it works as described here.
Euzena text messaging is provided by Pathstead AI Labs LLC. You connect a phone on the connections page of euzena.com: we text a code to it, and you type the code on the website. After that you can chat with Euzena by text. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to pause the texts and START to resume them, or disconnect the phone on the website. Reply HELP for help, or write to contact@euzena.com. Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages. We send no marketing texts.
Signing in, payment, export and deletion stay on the website. Over text, a health or money answer is brief and recommends professional help. See our Privacy Notice for how we handle your number and messages.
12. Fees
The beta is free. If anything is ever going to cost money, we will tell you the price and terms before you pay, and nothing is charged without your agreement.
13. Our rights in Euzena
Euzena, its software, its name and its design belong to Pathstead AI Labs LLC. While these Terms apply, you may use Euzena for yourself; that gives you no other right in it.
14. Disclaimer of warranties
TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, EUZENA IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". WE MAKE NO PROMISE THAT IT WILL WORK, STAY AVAILABLE, KEEP YOUR RECORDS SAFE FROM LOSS, OR SUIT ANY PURPOSE, AND WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
15. Limitation of liability
TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSSES, OR FOR LOST DATA OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF EUZENA, AND OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF WHAT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AND US$100.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for our own fraud, willful injury, gross negligence or violation of law, or takes away a right you cannot give up by law.
16. Law and disputes
California law governs these Terms, without regard to its choice-of-law provisions. Any dispute goes to the state and federal courts in Sacramento County, California, and both of us agree to their jurisdiction. Either of us may use small claims court where it qualifies. Nothing here takes away a right you cannot sign away.
17. Changes to these Terms
A small change, one that does not reduce your rights or add obligations for you, takes effect when we publish it here, with a new version number and date. For a major change, we tell you on the channel your invitation arrived on before it takes effect, say what is changing, and ask you to agree again the next time you use Euzena; until you agree, your questions are not sent under the change. A major change that is worse for you takes effect no sooner than 30 days after we tell you. A change never applies to a dispute already raised. If you do not agree, you can export your data and close your account.
18. General
- Entire agreement. These Terms are the whole agreement between you and us about Euzena. Our Privacy Notice, and for health information our Consumer Health Data Notice, explain how we handle your information; if anything in these Terms differs from them on that, the notices apply.
- Severability. If a court finds part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.
- No waiver. If we do not enforce a term at once, we can still enforce it later.
- Assignment. You may not transfer these Terms. We may transfer them to a successor, such as through a conversion, merger or sale of Euzena; we will tell you on the channel your invitation arrived on first, and you can close your account.
- Notices. We send notices on the channel your invitation arrived on and in Euzena. You send notices to contact@euzena.com.
- Survival. Sections 8, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 18 continue after your account closes.
